On May 19th, the Tech Tourism Cluster organized a co-creation day called "Museums, Culture and Innovation", focused on the future of Articket BCN, a key tool for the cultural promotion of the city that connects the 6 public museums of Barcelona with tourists and residents of the city.

The event took place at the Museu Tàpies in Barcelona.

After the institutional welcome, we began the session with an introduction to the evolution of Articket to date: its successes, the values ​​that need to be preserved and the aspects that, with a critical and constructive perspective, need to be reconsidered to adapt to the new needs of the public and the cultural sector.

The heart of the day was the workshop facilitated by Fernando Matrichuk from Touristcheck 360, where participants began by answering a brief digital test to share their own experience when visiting museums: how we search for information, how we use our mobile phones during the visit and what the current expectations of the cultural public are, among others.

From there, we worked in teams on different key challenges:

✅ User experience
Designing the ideal journey of an Articket user, from purchase to loyalty, guaranteeing a fluid and accessible experience for all types of audiences.

✅ Cultural and tourist impact
Questions about how Articket can contribute to the positioning of Barcelona as a cultural city, what role gamification can play in attracting and retaining audiences or how aggregated data can help to better collaborate with public administrations and generate shared knowledge.

✅ Impact measurement
Define relevant strategic indicators to evaluate the success of Articket, identifying which data is useful to improve communication with the user and optimize their experience.

Finally, we shared impressions and conclusions to close the session, which was attended by the city's museums.
