The Tech Tourism Cluster, in collaboration with INDESCAT, is participating in the TRIA project, an inter-cluster initiative based on artificial intelligence aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of sports tourism in Catalonia.
The project has been selected under ACCIÓ’s cooperative project grants, receiving one of the highest evaluations and funding of approximately €70,000 from an eligible budget of €100,000.
TRIA is designed as an advanced decision-support system, based on an innovative “super agent” AI model capable of interacting naturally with industry professionals and simultaneously connecting to multiple public and private data sources related to sports tourism. This integration will provide immediate, reliable, and contextualized information on sports activity and sports tourism flows in the territory.
The project addresses key challenges such as the lack of integrated data, difficulties in planning resources and events, and the need to effectively incorporate artificial intelligence into sector management.
With the participation of INLEA, Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona, OCISPORT, Agenda Sports, and SAEE Consulting, TRIA reinforces the value of inter-cluster collaboration and the Tech Tourism Cluster’s commitment to technology-driven innovation in tourism.
