The Tech Tourism Cluster continues to promote the integration of artificial intelligence into the daily operations of tourism and technology companies through a new training session dedicated to ChatGPT Work. Held online on 26 October, the session brought together 40 Cluster members to explore new ways to optimise processes, automate tasks and improve efficiency in the workplace.
The three-hour session was led by Marcelo Garcés from AI-Mate, a Tech Tourism Cluster member company, who guided participants through the possibilities of this tool, showing them how to move beyond traditional AI conversations and start delegating complete tasks and developing more autonomous workflows.
Throughout the training, attendees learned how to define tasks for ChatGPT to plan and execute, work with their own files and information, and explore ways to schedule recurring processes. The session also included an introduction to Codex, OpenAI's coding environment, highlighting new applications of artificial intelligence in task development and automation.
One of the highlights of the session was its highly practical and interactive approach. Through live exercises, participants had the opportunity to experiment with different features and ask questions as the session progressed. Marcelo addressed these questions in real time, helping attendees better understand the tools and how to apply them to real-world professional situations.
This training initiative forms part of the Tech Tourism Cluster's strategic Talent pillar, which focuses on developing new digital skills and supporting the continuous professional development of its ecosystem. At a time when artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work, providing access to practical knowledge and tools is essential to strengthening competitiveness, innovation capabilities and companies' ability to adapt to emerging technologies.
Through this new initiative, the Tech Tourism Cluster reaffirms its commitment to continuous learning and the adoption of emerging technologies and will continue to promote new training opportunities to help companies across the sector unlock the full potential of artificial intelligence.
