Red.es,, a public business entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, has launched a new call for €130 million in funding, aimed at supporting research, development, and integration of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, into business value chains.


Out of the total €130 million, €47 million have been allocated to a regional group that includes Catalonia, creating a major opportunity for our business ecosystem.


This initiative aims to strengthen the competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation of the Spanish production sector and represents a notable opportunity for companies operating in the tech field.


The call is designed to foster the development of strategic business R&D&I sectors, encourage entrepreneurship in emerging technologies, and promote the effective integration of AI and other advanced technologies into companies' production processes.


Eligible applicants include companies with tax headquarters in Spain that carry out R&D&I projects anywhere in the country. The eligible technologies include:


• Artificial Intelligence

•  Robotics

•  Cybersecurity

•  Space technologies

•  Internet of Things (IoT)

•  Other dual-use or advanced technologies


Projects must have a budget ranging between €400,000 and €5,000,000, and grants can cover up to 25% of the total cost, potentially increasing to 60%, depending on the project type and the profile of the applying company.


🗓️ The application period is open from July 30 to September 30, 2025.
