Apropem les solucions de ciberseguretat al sector 'traveltech' al Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress

Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important for the tourism sector, which is moving towards more digitalised and interconnected management models.

Hotels, technology companies and destinations handle large volumes of information and sensitive data, making their protection a strategic priority. Having secure systems in place is essential to protecting businesses, maintaining customer trust and ensuring operational continuity.

During today's tour of the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress, we had the opportunity to discover different technological proposals and explore solutions aimed at strengthening organisations' digital security.

In the afternoon, the day continued with our participation in the Annual Cybersecurity Conference organised by the Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA). The programme included presentations of technological solutions, a practical demonstration of how a cyberattack is carried out, and a roundtable discussion focusing on the relationship between trust, technology and security. These sessions allowed us to explore cybersecurity from different perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges involved in protecting digital environments.

Through this initiative, the Tech Tourism Cluster continues to bring technological opportunities closer to the companies in our ecosystem, facilitating access to new knowledge, solutions and networking opportunities that encourage cross-sector collaboration.

We would like to thank the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya, which manages the Digital Catalonia Alliance, for organising the event and promoting spaces for connection between the different stakeholders in the technology ecosystem.
