The Challenge: Sustainability and Conservation
Current museum spaces face the great challenge of maintaining very strict environmental conditions for the correct conservation of artworks. This requirement inevitably involves high energy consumption.
Additionally, the influx of visitors and the management of public flows directly impact both energy expenditure and user experience. That is why intelligent solutions are needed to make these spaces much more sustainable and efficient.
Main Objectives
- Data Intelligence:Monitor and interpret real-time data from the facilities to guarantee predictive and efficient decision-making.
- Energy Efficiency: Drastically reduce energy expenditure and the carbon footprint through the intelligent control of air conditioning and lighting.
- Art Preservation: Guarantee the sustained maintenance of ideal temperature and humidity parameters for the conservation of collections.
- User Experience (UX): Optimize comfort and the management of visitor flows within the exhibition space.
We are developing an advanced tool that unifies in a single platform data that until now was dispersed (ticket sales, environmental sensors, electricity consumption). Using Machine Learning algorithms, the platform analyzes this information to optimize the operation of the museum in real time.
Expected Results
MuseMetrics culminates in a comprehensive management platform that unifies energy, environmental, and attendance data in real time in one single place. This tool allows for a direct reduction in energy consumption of the facilities through the intelligent optimization of resources. With this project, we consolidate a replicable technological innovation model for other cultural spaces, practically promoting more sustainable tourism and culture.
