This past week we celebrated a new edition of the Tech Tourism Talks @4YFN within the framework of MWC 2026, under the theme “Technologies that will transform the tourism of tomorrow”. The session, in collaboration with Barcelona Activa, brought together companies from the 'traveltech' ecosystem to share real experiences on the use of data and artificial intelligence in the sector.

During the roundtable, moderated by Anna Monjo (ACCIÓ), we learned about the vision of Adrià Bosch (VisitToo), Lesmes López (Codurance), Albert Martínez (Sekuenz), and Edgar Sanjuán (Emogg Analytics®) regarding the applicability of technology from a futuristic perspective. The focus was on the role of AI in better understanding demand, personalizing experiences, and generating algorithms that enable more informed decision-making.

And the day didn't end there... In the evening, we gathered more than 50 companies from the ecosystem once again for a new edition of Travel Tech Connect! 

The meeting, co-organized with FutureTravel and Barcelona Travel Hub, brought together entrepreneurial leaders and professionals from the 'traveltech' sector at the Sercotel Caspe venue.

During the session, five startups presented their innovative solutions to transform the future of the sector: Revivack, Effiwaste, Navea Tech, eXplorins and Defcon8, with proposals that help redefine the travel experience and drive a more efficient and sustainable industry.

The event was also a great networking opportunity that fostered new conversations and connections among professionals.
