Asistimos al ITB Berlin para conectar con las tendencias globales del traveltech

The Tech Tourism Cluster has been present this past week at ITB Berlin, one of the most relevant tourism fairs worldwide, which brings together more than 100,000 professionals from nearly 190 countries and where about 20% of the exhibitors are linked to the Travel Technology segment.

For an entity like the Tech Tourism Cluster, which brings together more than 140 companies and agents from the Catalonia environment linked to technology applied to tourism, participating in an event like ITB represents a key opportunity to connect with the main international players and get to know first-hand the trends that will mark the future of the sector.

During the days of the fair, the Cluster team held several meetings with international agents, technology companies, and potential strategic partners, with the aim of generating new alliances that allow for boosting the competitiveness of the companies in our ecosystem on a global scale.

The visit to ITB has also served to identify new collaboration opportunities in key areas such as systems integration, data intelligence, and the application of technological solutions capable of transforming the current tourism model towards a more efficient, sustainable, and quality-oriented model. In this context, it is essential to detect real market trends, understand how traveltech is evolving in other countries, analyze new collaboration models, and delve into aspects such as data governance, which is increasingly relevant in the sector's decision-making.

In addition, participation in ITB Berlin has also been an opportunity to give visibility to the Catalan business fabric and to all the innovation projects promoted by the Cluster, as well as to identify new organizations interested in being part of the ecosystem and contributing to enriching the sector's value chain.
