The Digitalization and Marketing of Heritage (DICOPA) project reaches its final phase with promising results for the tourism and cultural sector. This initiative, in which Mobile Media Content, Clorian and Eurecat, members of the Tech Tourism Cluster, participate, aims to promote the digital transformation of heritage through the creation of immersive and interactive digital assets.
The project that seeks to develop 3D recreations of the most emblematic heritage elements of Barcelona, has focused on the digitization of the façade of the Palau de la Música Catalana and has allowed the creation of an interactive 3D model with up to 18,000 personalized narratives, adapted to adults, young people and children in six languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, French, German and Italian).
This scenario has been generated with cutting-edge technology in modeling, texture and lighting, and subsequently has been unstructured to highlight the most valuable architectural parts, making it an interactive space enriched with content generated by artificial intelligence.
The service will be integrated with the purchase of tourist tickets, allowing visitors to enjoy a digital experience complementary to the physical visit, enriching knowledge and emotional connection with heritage.
The DICOPA project demonstrates the potential of collaboration between technology and heritage, opening the door to new forms of cultural dissemination and tourist marketing that are more immersive, accessible and sustainable.
👏🏻 Congratulations to all the partners who have been part of the success of this project.
