Today we had the opportunity to live a very inspiring session with the IKEA for Business team in their store in Hospitalet, where we discovered how design, sustainability and innovation can be transformation engines for professional spaces and service experiences.

José Hernández and Alejandra Fernández, Key Account Managers of IKEA in Catalonia, have brought us closer to the philosophy and evolution of a brand that, from its origin, pursues a clear objective: to create a better day to day for most people, including customers, teams and suppliers.

Through its IKEA Companies division, they offer services and solutions adapted to businesses of all sizes: interior design, financing options, exclusive promotions and loyalty programs. All this, with the mission of being accessible “at one click and less than 15 minutes from any citizen”.

🌱 The session was also attended by Ismael Villar, Sustainability Leader in Catalonia, who explained the three main pillars that support IKEA’s sustainability strategy:

1. Healthy & Sustainable Living: committed to sustainable, functional and affordable products that promote a healthier and more responsible lifestyle.

2. Climate, Nature & Circularity: commitment to reducing environmental impact, the use of sustainable materials and the implementation of circularity and water efficiency projects.

3. Fair & Equal: a corporate culture based on equal opportunities and people’s well-being. IKEA is a foundation, and allocates 15% of the profits to the IKEA Foundation, while the remaining 85% is reinvested in the business and its people.
