Tourism is changing, and we want to recognise the initiatives that are making this transformation possible.
The Tech Tourism Cluster, together with Barcelona Travel Hub and the Gremi d’Hotels de Barcelona, are launching the 1st edition of the Travel Xcellence Awards, new awards created to recognise companies, startups, projects and organisations that are contributing to transforming and advancing the tourism sector.
The call is open to initiatives that stand out for their innovation, impact, transformative capacity and forward-looking vision, across five categories:
🏆 Startup of the Year: for startups making a difference in the new tourism ecosystem.
🏆 Impact and Sector Collaboration: for initiatives that generate impact and connect different stakeholders across the sector.
🏆 International Expansion: for companies taking their business model beyond our borders.
🏆 Tourism Disruption: for projects that challenge the status quo and propose new ways of understanding tourism.
🏆 Innovative Business Track Record: for companies that have made innovation an essential part of their journey.

The call is open to startups, companies, projects and organisations contributing to building the tourism of the future.
Taking part in this first edition is an opportunity to give visibility to transformative projects, share success stories and become part of a new space for recognising innovation in tourism.
The awards ceremony will take place on 26 November at the Fundació Joan Miró.
